Unstable ground

I blipped the road damage  on February 18.  Almost three and a half months later, the repairs still haven't happened.  Our neighbour doubts that the road will be repaired anytime soon.  
In the first extra, you can see how close the houses are on the other side of the road.  The second extra is the front of the sign on the upper left of the first extra, showing the warning that the road drops off.   It's quite a drop down to the beach.  There's another sign just up the road telling drivers to yield to oncoming traffic, so it's basically a one lane road and there's a big curve, so drivers do have to be careful.   So do walkers and cyclists!
