Lindengate

The first of our summer evenings for Camera Club was to a delightful local place known as Lindengate.  It is a charity set up to provide a peaceful and therapeutic experience for those who need some calm in their lives.  It is rather like and extremely well tended and lovingly cultivated allotment - not quite a garden although there are lots of flowers.  There was a good size group that turned out, helped by a glorious evening light, and the deal is we were allowed in if they can have our photos.  Sounds good to me!

I have no idea what this flower is - huge bell-shaped delphinium style blooms.  they were blue but I have given the image a bit of treatment in Photoshop to enhance its shape and texture.
