Newcastle Downunder

The seas are up. A sure sign when there is surfing in the harbour off the breakwall and the luderick fishermen fish off the Esplannade.  This chap is standing at the side entrance to Newie Baths and just before this bite he had hauled in a rather sizeable fish.  You would only catch a fish off there when the seas are up as generally there is nothing but sand there even in high tide.  Must be something to do with the Solstice and the weather patterns.

There is a milky way shoot tomorrow night with some local togs.  Does anyone want to have a bet we get cloud cover!
