Silly Saturday: Car Park Swimming Pool?

I wonder if the architects who designed these new flats being built nearby intended the car park to double up as a swimming pool....? It doesn't look very inviting. Maybe of course they're planning a marina there - but it's several miles from the nearest river or sea. And the yellow "boats" don't look very exotic.

(We have, of course, had a lot of rain recently. Presumably when they finish it they'll drain it, raise it and tarmac it...we'll see!)

At least it's a brownfield building site for once (hurrah!). It's the site of an old infants/junior school which has since moved to new premises. It's appeared on my blips several times before - for example here, here, here and here.
