Tractor

Although once again it is very hot, I walked to the village shop this morning for more fruit. In this heat I am only buying small quantities, when I go out or when the lorry delivers; the very hot weather is making the fruit deteriorate before we are able to eat it.

I took my camera and almost blipped a bee on a flower. There were also a lot of very small brown butterflies about; flying far too fast for me to photograph. They may have been Gatekeepers or Meadow Brown, or something completely different.

Instead I am blipping a tractor with a farm implement; I do not think, in six years of blipping, that I have ever blipped a tractor. My father’s first tractor was a little grey Fergie, followed by red Massey Fergusons; he never had a blue one, which I think is a Ford.
