Keeping cool

Today began with some cloud cover, but here in SE England soon became extremely warm yet again.  I spent this morning catching up on some chores and even wrote and posted several cards, a change form just emailing and posting greetings on Facebook!
This afternoon Violet and her Mummy arrived as Violet is having a sleepover with us tonight while Mummy attends a works leaving do.
Mr MC was watering the garden yet again and Violet took the opportunity to cool off by ALMOST going into the spray but not quite!
It certainly looks as though this is going to be a record Summer for sunshine.
