Kirkcudbright Show

This morning we were off to Kirkcudbright for their Summer Country Fair.  Kirkcudbright seems to have a wonderful community feeling as a result their activities are well organised and attended.

We arrived in the early afternoon and soon had the marquee erected and the stands set up.  In the evening sunshine I had a wander round the show field looking for a blip.  I needn't have walked far.  We had been given the pitch which probably had the best view in the whole field.

Below us the hedge along the road side was as always bright with the flags of what seems like all the nations.  This shot is looking along about half of the expanse of flags.
