If you can't beat them...

Edinburgh Day 1.

We got a nice early start and had an uneventful run up to Edinburgh arriving in nice time for lunch.  After lunch we headed to the allotment to unload various things we had brought up with us and help with the work.

Clickychick picked Raspberries and Red Currants, my main task was clearing weeds off the paths ready to lay membrane and wood chip.  By 4:00 we had a load of things ready for the recycling centre so we headed back to the flat via the recycling.

After a short relaxation period we strolled along the Union Canal to Zizzi's where we had a lovely meal and a very pleasant evening.

The shot shows what I think is Sun Spurge growing on the allotment, a form of Euphorbia.  If you are certain what it is please let me know.
