In the Land of the Blind ...

... the one-eyed man is king.

I had my second cataract op this morning. It all went well and I was home by 11, much as on the previous occasion. One thing that was different was that I didn't experience the amazing colours that I did before. I gather that the experience is often different in a different eye.

I think I said before about the discomfort of the bulky dressing and monocular vision which is increased because it's difficult to wear my glasses. Still this is only until the dressing comes off tomorrow so it's a small price to pay and I don't mean to grumble.

Roll on tomorrow, I'm happy not to be king.
