A day in the Kiez

This morning we got up timely to meet Andi for breakfast at Molinari at 9:30am.
Andy was already there when we arrived. I was not hungry at all and had only coffees. Dani and Andi split up a few weeks ago and I was prepared for some emotional talk. Andi is suffering big time. Obviously it was not his decision. It is sad to see him suffering, but I also know that Dani is happier on her own. Never easy when friends spilt up and you are friends with both. You cannot help, apart from listening and consoling. But I think Andi was a bit better after we talked and left a bit uplifted. I was happy to see that.
We then walked to the flea market and Marheineke Platz, but did not find much.
After having done food shopping we went to the big Chapati Shop in Zossener Strasse. They are celebrating today their 20th anniversary and had great discounts plus a fashion show in the evening.
I bought more than I planned and of course not only the reduced stuff ..... But its lovely material and quirky designs.
We just managed to get under the roof at Barcomi's when the thunderstorm started. It was torrential rain and it was wild. We stayed at Barcomi's until it was safe to walk home.
At home we rested a bit and went for a snooze.
At 7pm we made our way to DM and Kaiser's to get the rest of the things we needed.
A quick stop at home then back to Chapati to join the 20th Anniversary Party and see that Fashion show (photos in Extras).
We had 2 caipirinhas then set home again to change and go to the Limonadier for some of their extraordinary cocktails. We thought we started with cocktails, we might then finish it properly :)

I had No.7 and then Don Juan.
Neil had Blood and Smoke and Rob Roy

We were home after 2 am and fell to bed.

The main blip is our obligatory photo booth selfie. We took it today in the early morning hours when walking home after spa and late dinner.
The extras are from the Chapati fashion show. Its all Fair trade, organic material and partly vegan. Check it out.
