Oh look..

I've discovered Magnetic Brass; something broadly in the same realm as Scotty's Transparent Aluminum (sic).

Spent some time in the workshop today finishing off the shelves, but also getting on with sorting some of the pots of 'sort that later's while the varnish dried.  Seemed like a plan to separate the brass (or, at least, non-ferrous) from the ferrous screws, especially as that was easy with a magnet - I like easy - it certainly wouldn't have been easy by appearance.

The sorting is using up quite a few plastic take-away tubs, so it was convenient that we had a games session, mixing guests and locals, this evening - preceded by a Chinese takeaway..
