More Festivalising

No two days the same - the rain stotted down all morning. Mid-afternoon up to the Book Festival we did go - to see Douglas Dunn, interviewed by Brian Taylor. It’s not all comedy and music, y’know. The soul does need some nourishment does it not? So what better than the eminent poet reading from his first book of poems in a couple of decades. And perhaps his last - his dry humour shone out as he described the life of a pensioner, shuffling round in his blue overalls. Few poets could make the emptying of a glove compartment of a car quite so touching.

So onward to Codebase where a VR event awaited us - Frogman. Quite enthralling - an unexplained death with plenty underwater claustrophobia. And home - the first of a new Spanish TV series - I Know Who You Are. Quite promising (overlooking the overacting on display occasionally - it’s certainly not in the Loch’s league in that regard...)
