The Runway(s)

At Hong Kong International Airport.

I visited with a friend in Tung Chung today to collect some more beach chairs (like we need any more beach chairs!!!) that we'd ordered through Taobao, which is the Chinese equivalent of Amazon, only a LOT cheaper! Being a mainlander, she can read it all so did the ordering on our behalf!

I was quite taken by the view from her home, of the runways of the airport, and would have loved to have spent some more time watching planes take off and land. I love planes ... as you might have gathered.

Also, the wavy road you can see is the China-HongKong-Macau bridge that is being built connecting three different land masses over the South China Sea. The longest bridge ever built! The project has even ongoing for the last 10 years!

Have a super weekend everyone! And oh, there are apparently two more typhoons coming our way again, soon!!!
