Looking Northwards.

It was a beautiful day here today, warm and sunny. I dropped TM off at the hospital (he was having his ears tested) and headed to Edinburgh and patchwork class. He got to Edinburgh by train, the first trip for either of us on the Borders line. 

We met up later and went down to Portobello for a walk by the water. It was busy, summer had come at last . But, storm clouds were gathering - and just as we got into the car, the deluge began. People were soaked to the skin in moments. 

It was lovely while it lasted.
