TINY TUESDAY

A lone and beautiful Sunflower
Stunted in its growth
(It’s only two feet tall)
Eaten by slugs and snails
Warmed by the sun and
Pummelled by the wind and rain
But it had the same chance
As the Hollyhock
Planted next to it
And that has grown
To eight feet tall.
I wonder why?
Both have seeds
So there is always
Another chance.
Do not despise those
Who do not appear to be
As upright or as tall as you.
Even they have their place
In the circle of life
And perhaps they haven’t had
Your privileges
So maybe it’s time for you
To bless them!
