Wettest walk

ever!
I was soaked through three layers when I got home just before 10.00 am.

We decided yesterday to do the Hainworth walk and at 6.30 it seemed to be fine. At 700 it was pouring but when we left at 7.35 it did seem to be easing and thought it would be just showers. There must have been a lot of rain overnight as the paths were awash in lots of places and the rain just kept on coming!

Walking along the Moor edge from Hainworth there were occasional glimpses of brightness, like this one here with the makings of a rainbow right over Haworth Church.

Climbing back over Catstones Moor the heather was just at the right height to soak your thighs! Back at the cars suddenly there was blue sky and sunshine which has continued for the rest of the day. Typical.
(There may be a wet walk blip from Wilsden Walker later)

Good news from the dentist, if I let the dentist who did the original filling back in February redo it I won't be charged for the replacement as it is still covered. Quite happy about that, I thought she'd left!

Hope you all have a nice, dry weekend!
