It rained

Adding to yesterdays sparkle, was the beautiful sound of pelting rain this morning.  This may sound slightly crazy coming from someone living in the Pacific Northwest rain forest, but after the heat wave triggering so many wildfires (and in our area smoke), it is a blessing.  As the heavens opened and the clouds parted ways, the long forgotten drops are no longer just a faint memory.  The air is cleaner, the grass is happy, the pavement washed, even the birds are singing a brighter song.  As am I.
