Folsom Europe Street Party

Despite the 9 hrs relaxing we were not really up early - but this is what's holiday for, isn't it?
After breakfast we had the obligatory walk over the local flea market then we  got ready to meet our Scottish friends in Schöneberg to go to the 2017 Folsom Europe Gay Street Party. We have been there last year and it was so much fun that we are back this year. Apart from seeing a lot of leather and rubber worn by gay men from all over the world, it is also one of the most relaxed street parties I have ever been to. Especially as a photographer you are in heaven as any of them will gladly pose for you! We spent a few hours there walking around, watching, having a drink or two and chatting to people. I took a lot of photos and cuddled rubber dogs - after having asked the owner of course - and we truly had a great time with our friends.
In the evening Doug, Sandra and Stacia went their own ways and Neil and I decided to finally try the HongKong Restaurant Tak Kee in Wilmersdorfer Strasse.
It was a great decision and the owner lady (Yuki) was giving us fantastic advise on the food specials. We had lovely food and after that I ended up chatting for a long time to another guest in the restaurant.
The conversation went from languages, cultures and many other topics to photography! What a joy :). We might have soon a new Blipper on board :). Definitely worthwhile having a look at his work!
It was a great day with loads of impressions and most interesting encounters.

Mainblip today Mr. Leather Switzerland and Mr. Leather Italy!
In the extras a few more shots from the party, featuring dogs, ponies, and even had a gay "Bavarian Schuhplattler" dance group ..... hilarious :)
