Chomp

A day out on the water - and no wonder that JS looks so happy - he’s got a mouthful of cake! Though I wasn’t so happy when I heard that thanks to some dog sitting complications that no beer had been brought! (Admittedly I could have brought some myself) Anyway, we headed out the harbour in light winds, which quickly became no winds, but a bit of sunshine so we ‘hove to’ and enjoyed JS’s salads. Yes, salads. Like, beetroot and bulgar wheat and feta and drizzly oil and leaves. What a guy! And we even got the kettle boiled with no matches.
So onward, over to Oxcars light and the sky darkened and the wind got up a bit; and there was a flotilla of RFYC boats coming out of Aberdour. So we ’went about’ and joined them - and blue skies and wind came from the east and we were out in the sun, and it was just as lovely as it gets on the Forth (see extra). We’d have held the buggers off if we’d taken a direct route back but we decided to zig-zag as if avoiding submarines. It’s a useful learning thing.
Back, to sit out awhile and offer the guests coffee. Most delightful.
Later, we watched Wild - a cracking movie, with good music and everything. All in all, a triffic day, cheers both!
