A beautiful day

This is why September is my favourite month of the year - days like these are so beautiful. After doing chores in the village - bank, Boots, post office, dry cleaner, groceries - I drove past Claremont Landscape Gardens to check whether there was any autumn colour in the trees yet - there wasn't. But what a beautiful scene. About 5 minutes later it started raining - yet the sun was still shining - what crazy weather!

I was very pleased to see that The Handmaid's Tale and Big Little Lies both won awards at the Emmys - both were great shows.
