The Lozarithm Lens

Beversbrook Surgery (Monday 18th September 2017)

I made it out of the house today to go for my annual eye screening, where pictures that look like my blip avatar are made of the Lozarithm eyeball. I'm highly allergic to baby/toddler noises so I had to ask for a private waiting area and was shown into this consulting room.
In the fifteen minutes while the eyedrops I was given took effect I popped over to the supermarket opposite and bought some groceries; then the images were taken over a couple of minutes, and then I made the fifteen minute walk back home (driving not allowed) and had a late breakfast.
The rest of the day was spent moving furniture about, so this was my only photograph. Thanks to sk for hosting.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Three Vales - Blue Lights Down Low (1957)
I was far too young to be buying records back in 1957, so had to rely on the BBC Light Programme for my musical culture, and so, apart from the odd crossover hit, much of rock and roll and doo-wop was completely absent from my world. I now have a reasonably comprehensive collection of both genres on CD and when I play one, such as The Finbarr Golden Treasury Of Doo Wop, Volume 8 as I did today for the first time, much of it is new to me. This quite upbeat selection stood out for me. The three singers were from Pittsburgh PA and this second single (Cindy 3007) was also their last.
