Fabulous Friday walk

What a superb morning, just how autumn ought to be and our walk around Denholme's Delights was just that, full of delights.

Blue skies; blue reservoirs; viaducts; the usual slobbering skittish Llamas/Alpacas; backlit sheep; cows; donkeys; horses and stunning views. Wilsden Walker and I tracked a huge Dragonfly and she was patient enough to get a great picture of it. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2357834328668373810

With so much to enjoy what should I choose to blip? It wasn't going to be the reservoir or viaduct as I have done them so often and I did the Llamas last time I did this walk but this view of the early low sun lighting up the interior of the arches of Hewenden Viaduct finally got my vote.

At the end of our approx 5 mile walk we passed through the farm buildings seen opposite here and crossed over the Viaduct.

A little macabre touch was a police car and police tape blocking off our usual route after we had crossed Doe Park Reservoir. It was on the TV the other day that there had been a suspected murder and two police officers were guarding this route. They are looking for the body!

So glad NannaK has seeen some sunshine in Yorkshire today even if it didn't last all day.

Happy weekend everyone.
