I'm amazed I saw & managed to photograph this large white butterfly today which was feeding on the red valerian.. Low thick grey cloud all day, windy, then drizzle! I spent most of the day planting bulbs & doing battle with an annoying plant I was trying to dig up, unearthed quite a large ants nest & the blackbirds literally had a field day gobbling them all up after!

This must have literally been the quickest weekend ever. Why we don't have 3 days for the weekend, I'm not sure... as 2 days fly by! So much to do all the time & with the weather being so lousy, all I want to do is curl up under my duvet & hibernate! xxx
