Eagle Pond: Striking a Shadow Pose

More varied plumage textures and tones in large.

The Goosles were on good form this morning...
As much as I try to pick one pic., I just keep failing. This littlest Goosle has such a sweet character (all confident, and peeping constantly), and the two more mature ones are amusingly shy.
I got some different angles today: some close-ups (amongst the autumn leaves) and some shots from above. One of the two larger goslings bit my lens, which was surprising. There was a fair bit of action too: flapping, drinking, scaring pigeons, avoiding dogs, and Goosle stepping...
