Challenge

My 6" block for a quilting friend back south, an ongoing project to keep our old sewing group connected following four of the eight of us moving away. It means one person each month receives Surprises in the Post (better than the usual rubbish mail!). We managed grown-up sized blocks for each other last year but this time decided to go mini. You can still make this complicated though (which, of course, I like to do - what's the point of making it easy?!).
Otherwise, a slightly frustrating day where we seemed thwarted doing simple things. So since the universe had decided I should sit and sew, I did :-)
