Detectorists

I visited Dane’s Dyke and Flamborough South Landing this morning… Very cold on the exposed beach in a stiff south westerly force 5 wind…I could have done with my fingerless gloves….

I did find shelter in the giant ravine of Dane’s Dyke and found some lovely fungi - see extra.

This afternoon I wandered into Brid again and along the North Bay where I spotted these two wonderful detectorists on the beach. The had identical machines and shovels. I wondered if they were husband and wife (or boyfriend and girlfriend)…

Struggling to keep up with journals - what with very, very slow wifi and extended meal times in the hotel….hopefully normal service will resume after tomorrow!
