More waves

Last day in Bridlington. I walked into the harbour area where a brisk force 6 wind was pushing the high tide in against the harbour wall and slip producing some spectacular wave splashes.

I captured this sequence as one wave broke over the slipway.

We left for home after lunch and got back mid afternoon after calling in to a supermarket for weekend supplies.

Not good news overnight from mother in law…she had a backwards fall in hospital and banged her head. She was taken to A&E in Darlington and Mrs madwill’s sister was there with her until 5 a.m. She was discharged back to her hospital for neuro observations.
