Rich Roman, Poor Roman

Miss E and Miss M were up bright and early this morning. I'm not sure what time they stayed up to l last night but we didn't hear a peep out of them so who cares!!!
They came up to ask could they make pancake batter and they'd come and tell me when cooking was required. No, go away and let me sleep!!!!!! OK then!
They tripled the recipe so there were a lot of pancakes for breakfast!!!!
And Mr K went down to do the cooking so that was a result!
They pottered about for a few hours - managing to fit in a few bacon sandwiches! - before Mrs C came to pick Miss M up just after 1pm.
Miss E was so sad to see her go. We've already arranged another sleepover after half term. I'm sure Miss E will be counting down the minutes!!
Before swimming the Little Misses did a bit of homework. Miss L took herself off upstairs to do hers which was to draw a rich Roman and a poor Roman. She came down beaming with pride at her efforts. Rightly so!!!!
Then it was to the swimming pool. Mr K took them in but I was still feeling a bit ropey so sat it out and just watched them. It's lovely watching them having so much fun with Mr K. Brilliant!!
Roast beef for dinner and another row with Miss E about her sitting there looking like someone had died, slumping halfway off her chair and wafting her cutlery ineffectually at her food - making sure we all notice that she doesn't like it and doesn't want to eat it. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!
In the end I lost my rag, sent her upstairs and told her I didn't want to see her again until the morning.
Another wonderful piece of parenting. Sigh.
She hasn't reappeared and Mr K have had an evening of Strictly results (probably for the best that Miss E didn't see her favourites Charlotte and Brendan get knocked out!) and the wonderful Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
