Home again!

We had a pleasant flight back form New York - as it is such a short journey it's best to eat before boarding the plane and then go to sleep as soon as you get on the plane. We had a pleasant dinner in the BA lounge and then were more than ready to go to sleep just after take off. Of course you are woken up at 2.30am US time just before landing,  so today has been a very long day, and it's not even over yet!...it will be an early night for us! Thomas has perked up since we got home and I am sure a good night's sleep will make all the difference to him and hopefully he will feel better from tomorrow.

It was wonderful to get home and be greeted by Luke and Murdoch (Luke collected him from kennels yesterday morning). Luke has enjoyed his weekend at home as he has not spent much time at this house since we moved in, and was busy preparing for his assessment/interview on Monday. 

I had to take a photo of Luke today as we don't see him that often - in fact this year I cannot get Christmas cards with a family photo printed, as the five of us have not been together for ages, and when we were last all together it was not opportune to get a family photo. Murdoch was delighted to see us and has had a lovely weekend with Luke.
