The Lincoln Memorial

....as seen from the upper terrace of the Kennedy Center.

Hardly a minute to sit down all day.  Salon appointment in the morning, dentist appointment in the afternoon followed by a dinner date with my husband in DC and a wonderful concert at the Kennedy Center.  We arrived a little early so had some time to go up to the top and take some photos.  This was taken with the new RX10M4 and I was generally pleased with the results.

The concert was with the Orchestra Dell'Academia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia from Rome.  Martha Argerich played Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No.3.  This orchestra premiered Respighi's Pines of Rome in 1924 and of course, tonight that's what they played and they brought the house down.  It was a wonderful concert.
