The fall of a leaf

Know'st thou not at the fall of the leaf

How the heart feels a languid grief

Laid on it for a covering,

And how sleep seems a goodly thing

In Autumn at the fall of the leaf? .....
Dante Gabriel Rossetti

They're falling left right and centre. Grey, mild and dull today, the exploits of Wednesday on Heir Island  have been written up should you care to take a look. Not much else to report t- a bit of reed bed clearing assisted by Fineen who found it all very interesting. Why the conservatory door is now closed is a bit baffling though.  Have a good Bank Holiday to those who get one.
