All the world's a stage

A slow, slow start. I got home at 00.45 and was asleep by 00.50 so getting up was not a priority this morning.

However I did wake before 7 so heard the whole of the 'Today' 60th birthday edition.

Domestic stuff and then I tidied the shed/summerhouse. It was fair windy. Wrestled with some batteries and then off to the Lyceum. It was a bit of an eventful journey as the #37 appeared to have a puncture.

Met J and after the theatre talk (started late so we missed the end but Christine Bovill was great) it was next door to Zucca before the play.

It was 'Cockpit' about DPs immediately after WW2 and first performed in 1948. We were in the stage. Very well done and very resonant of things today.

Home for cocoa and putting the clocks back. I need the extra hour.
