Life through the lens...

Big evening skies

The sun appeared late afternoon, and at last we had the wonderful big Norfolk skies.
It has been another enjoyable day.
The morning spent walking round the grounds and woods of Sheringham Park.

The weather is so mild for the time of year.

Our lunch at Byfords in Holt was delicious.
A fish sharing platter for two.
Home made fish fingers, smoked mackerel, battered calamari, and smoked salmon.
Much better than our meal last night, which was a very disappointing game pie.
No atmosphere in the pub.

This afternoon we went for a walk round Blakeney.

Another favourite spot with some nice galleries. I fell in love with a painting of a barn owl. Unfortunately it was too big for our house, and I didn't have £1,250 on me at the time!

We are eating in again tonight.
This time rump steak with all the trimmings.
Must go on a diet when we get back home!
