Leeds Castle (Kent) Fireworks

Can't quite master the settings on the (newish) camera. I thought there was a "Fireworks" scene on this camera as there was on the old one. In the end I resorted to pushing the ISO into the 1000s to get a shot. Not quite as complicated as someone standing next to me who brought a tripod and set it up next to us. They spent almost an hour setting things up, getting the camera on the tripod and then fiddling with the controls.

My it was cold last night. Gates opened at 2.00pm with the fireworks at 5.30pm. We arrived at about 3.30 so had a couple of hours to wander around the crowds, marvelling at the length of the queues for the food and drink stalls. The burger queue was 50 metres at least. I'm thinking they will have missed the fireworks and still be in the line.

It was cold but a very pleasant early winter day. We walked out across the golf course in the bright sunshine. We can take any amount of this weather, far better than the dull drizzly stuff (although we do need the rain)
