Wide Angle Wednesday: Preparations

A quick trip into Bath this evening (to grab my blip for the day) saw me in Abbey Churchyard, where they are busy making preparations for Sunday's Remembrance Day service.  It was only just 4C and its been fairly chilly all day with a hard frost last night.  Winter may technically not be here for another 6 weeks but, as the Starks remind us in GoT, Winter is coming.

Bess the BMW is back from the dealership post her 600 mile running in service, and I can't wait to get on her and find out what she's capable off in the higher rev ranges.  It will have to warm up first though!  The dealership have also sorted out the alarm which was supposed to have been installed on delivery but seemed to have gone missing (not quite sure about that!) .  I don't think alarms do much good on cars, motorbikes or even houses - they go off so regularly that most people ignore them.  However, the insurers like them, and so we fork out for them in return...

A quick thank you to Bob who runs Wide Angle Wednesday is probably in order at this point.  WidWed was originally started by Hobbs who earlier this week celebrated 6 years on Blip, and nowadays it is curated by Bob of BobsBlips who is celebrating 4 years today - in some style!
