Remembrance Day Parade

Managed to stagger to the Bull Ring to catch photos of Shepshed's Remembrance Day Parade this afternoon. Sunlight streaming down Charnwood Road made it difficult to get a good exposure but then I went and stood on the roundabout at the middle, onlookers probably classifying me as paparazzi.

Leicestershire Constabulary in the parade but no policemen available to assist with road closures. Shepshed Lions did their bit to fill the gap, and still people insisted on coming through, even driving the wrong way down The Lant. The parade was gone in just over five minutes. Very well attended. It marched to the War Memorial in the park.

Marvellous Autumn sunshine today. I managed to finish the 'homework' set for the Flower Photography course because it was so bright. It enabled me to use a small aperture with low ISO and shutter speed of 1/80. Extra is of one of the images split toned as per instructions.

Halim came to give us another Arabic lesson this morning.
