Drinking in the colour

Today was the most wonderful frosty sunny day.  I had a good walk along Morn Hill and up and down its steep sides.  I took pictures of cattle and sheep (who were uncooperative, it has to be said) and right at the end caught up with the Exmoor ponies.  I'm aware they're not exactly strangers to my journal, but had to put this one it because of the way it summed up all the best of the late autumn colours.

And of course being out in the clear air made me feel very much better than I have done for a few days - how could it not?
