Badminton Boys

Poor BB got up early as he was fretting about some homework he hadn’t done, but all credit to him he sat down at the kitchen table and completed it. Then there were decisions to be made as it was dress down Friday, in return for taking a contribution to the PTA Christmas hampers, which we raffle off at the Christmas shows. Just before going to school he suddenly remembered that it was the 1st of December- and time to start his advent calendar. Once he was off to school I went for an 8.5 mile run on a beautiful cold and frosty morning, thankfully it was quite still, otherwise it would have been really freezing.

BB and his friend L came home from school and I took them both to a badminton tournament in North Berwick.  The sports hall was freezing, not only was there no heating the air con was blowing cold air – so there was a constant cold breeze.  The organiser asked them to turn it off – but apparently they couldn’t!  We were so glad when it was over so we could get home to warm up.  BB and L were happy as they both won their respective groups.

It took me ages to warm up when I got home.  BB had scouts and has to do some work at home for next week – I hope we remember.  TT had a chiropractor appointment this morning, and seems a bit better now, but he has to go back next week for further torture!
