Gailey Pool Snowy Sunrise

Haven't visited these pools for some months, but driving west along the A5 I was minded to pull in and look back as the sky coloured up in the rear view mirror.

We had more snow this morning, so afterwards I popped back onto the Chase in search of some wildlife.  I found some deer sheltering in the woods and also visited an areas famous for 'tits on sticks'.  The phrase is an affectionate reference to one of the best local wildlife photographers I know who has 'encouraged' the local flying wildlife to expect feeding in a certain area of the chase.  He will often provide suitable, photogenic perches for them to pose on.  On this occasion the sunrise won out.
