More birthday flowers

After not a lot of sleep went swimming.  It was great.  Pretty much the pool to myself.  Did some last minute shopping on the way there and back.

A busy day spent cooking and cleaning and a wee bit ironing.  The cooking too longer than I'd planned but I took time out to watch the Auckland fireworks at 11 a.m. and the fabulous Sydney ones at 1 p.m.  Then of course I messaged KL at 4 p.m. to wish them 'Happy New Year'.

2 packages arrived today.  Beautiful flowers and a vase from L, now home in Spain and my last Amazon delivery of the year. 

Planning a quiet evening with J and D coming up to see the New Year in and watch our fireworks.  

And so ends 2017.
