Les doyens

Lucienne (our next door neighbour) and Gilbert, the two oldest inhabitants of our village (not related to each other) raise a glass at the mayor's New Year ceremony this evening. It's always a very convivial occasion, well, once the speeches are over ... excellent canapés, galettes des rois, and plenty of wine.
