Gavinton sunset

Another gloriously cold and frosty day.

MrM met me from work this afternoon, as he needed to return a repaired fiddle to its young owner, Tom's granddaughter, before her fiddle lesson tomorrow. (Fortuitous timing, as I needed to take a plant and a couple of other things back from the office, and it would have been difficult on the bus!) As we drove over the Border to Gavinton, the low sun was blindingly bright and reflecting on the road, and we were glad when it had sunk below the horizon. MrM was very pleased with the 'payment' for his work - a fabulous sponge cake with chocolate filling and icing, baked by the owner of the fiddle.
