Starting the Course

Today was the day for me to start delivering the course to Pastoral team members in the Diocese of Birmingham about how churches can help to support those living with dementia.  The room we use is one converted from office and storage space and is called All Saints.  It is a beautifully sunny dual aspect room with great views across the City.  It got very warm in there this afternoon as the sun was shining through all of the windows and creating some interesting shadows around the room in the pre-course stillness.  I think it went well.  I was rather nervous as it's a totally new course and there were 27 participants.
