We were in town today visiting friends on the edge of town and then on to a meeting in the center of town. As we came out of the meeting my eye was caught by the shop window opposite, advertising a SALE.
I was intrigued by the fact that, apart from the sale notices, the windows were totally empty. Even the shop itself was nameless. What is it that is on sale?
"The minimalist approach to marketing" I thought! And immediately after; "Minimalist, Blip, challenge, Bingo!" Out came the camera...
The meeting I was leaving as I saw these signs? It was a meeting of the Socialist Party, which is perhaps why I saw in that shop window a metaphor for "empty consumerism".
