Happy Squirrel Appreciation Day!!

I had all but given up on getting a squirrel today on Squirrel Appreciation Day!  I didn't have anything planned like last year, but I still had this kissing booth that I made for last Valentine's day so I put it out.  It was late in the day so I wasn't sure if the squirrels would come around. 

But my squirrels did not disappoint ... as soon as I shook the can I keep the peanuts in several of them came running!  They must know how much I really do appreciate them!  

The Minions were such a hit last week for the TiPS challenge that we went out an bought a couple more!  I added them to my "prop" as I thought they would enjoy getting in on the fun! And I forgot to take them with me when we went out this afternoon.

I have added an extra of a bison youngster that we saw at the Trexler Nature Preserve.  We had to take R's truck to our mechanic as the yearly inspection is due.  The nature preserve is only a short drive from the mechanics' and we almost always stop by there when we are nearby. It's fun to drive through and see the bison and elk.
