The Pheasant Lost

This looks like the end result of a pheasant losing a fight with something - fox perhaps. I first noticed some feathers liberally scattered around and then noticed their source. Pheasants are not renowned for their intelligence and ability to get themselves out of trouble. Pepper was interested but I didn't let her linger and marched her onwards for her exercise.
