Wide Angle Wednesday: Urban

I suspect that there may be quite a few images in mono for today's Wide Wednesday challenge hostsed by steveng.  The strong lines and brutal architecture of some much of the urban landscape suit mono photography well.

My initial plan was to try to get a shot of some skateboarders using the ramps that lie under the elevated section of the M32 as it enters Bristol.  Unfortunately while the ramps and graffiti were all in place, there were no skateboarders when I visited this lunchtime.  So instead you have this landscape shot featuring some Street Art not too far from the Ikea store, it will probably be familiar to you if you have used the M32 to leave Bristol.

Just behind me, many years ago, stood Bristol Rover's FC original Eastville Stadium.  They shared it with greyhound racers and speedway racers back in the day.  All long gone now.

As always, much more detail available in Large, should you fancy it.
