Marjorie's ramblings

Autumn colours in the garden

Spent the morning at home catching up on a few jobs. Then to town for routine mammogram, fringe cut, frustrating attempt to find new trousers (but succeeded in the end), bought jumpers x2 (didn't really need those), and some food. Managed to return to car with 5 mins to spare on parking ticket - the new traffic wardens have a reputation for doing their job incredibly well, so you have to be careful.

Packing for brief trip this weekend.

Almost overnight the beech leaves have lost most of their chlorophyll and so we can see the beautiful yellows and oranges that were previously hidden. Since we live in The Beeches it seems appropriate to blip the trees at least once a year!
