Amsterdam

This is how my day started, with the annual group photo at the "I love Amsterdam", (2017 here; 2015 here) followed by several wonderful hours at the Rikjmuseum.  All the students were free to wander (in their groups of 3!!) and so we did too, in our group of 2, the many streets and bridges that are Amsterdam, with all those photo opportunities - but an activity that became increasingly less fun as the evening arrived and brought the rain - so we headed for yesterday's Irish pub for a well earned pint after some 16,000 steps.  Only when we sat down did I realise that the 6 Nations Rugby (Ireland/France) was on, so rounding off my day watching the game with others made a great end to a long but enjoyable day.  Home to Istanbul tomorrow.
