Horse and Rider

The skies might have been blue and the sunshine dazzling but the gusting wind was searingly cold, threatening to blow off my warm Shetland bunnet and deep freeze my exposed noddle. If this Arctic weather continues much longer, the polar bears will be able to migrate south and we will plan on building igloos.

I managed to escape unencumbered this morning, His Lordship holding the fort while the tiler finished laying new tiles on the bathroom floor which hosted the boiler water leak at New Year.

There were some lovely reflections in the windows of Anderson and Strathern in Rutland Court, but this bronze sculpture of Horse and Rider by Eoghan Bridge at the end of Rutland Square gets the blip today.
